Speak God's Word

Mark 11:22-24 - "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours..." NIV.

In these verses, Jesus is giving us an example of how faith works. He tells us to SPEAK to our mountain, and believe that what we SAY will happen. You see, faith does not work by believing alone. You must SPEAK it.

The "mountain" in this verse is referring to the problems and issues in our life. Jesus starts out by saying, "Have faith in God," but casting our problems into the sea is not all up to God. If it was, Jesus would not have told us to "say to this mountain."

But beware what you say, and how you say it. Most people, instead of speaking "TO" thier mountain, speak "ABOUT" their mountain. They tend to say, "I am sick" instead of speaking God's Word - which say's "I am healed." when you say what you have, you get what you got.

2 Corinthinas 4:13 - It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak... NIV

Speaking in faith activates the covenent and will bring God's power into your life.

Believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth.
