John 15:5
- (Jesus speaking) I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing (NIV).

John 14:21 -
Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them (NIV).
1 Peter 5:7 -
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Galatians:16-17 -
So I say, walk by the (Holy) Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want (NIV).
Fellowship in a Good Church
Hebrews 10:24-25 -
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of
doing, but encouraging one another (NIV).
God tells us not to "forsake the assembling of ourselves together". As an example, several logs burn brightly on a fire, but put one aside on the hearth and the fire goes out. So it is with your relationship with other Christians.
If you do not yet belong to a church, do not wait to be invited. Take the initiative; start praying to Holy Spirit to guide you to a nearby church where Christ is honored and His Word is preached.
Please be aware; it is important that you do not make this decision on your own. Likewise, do not always believe what others may tell you. There are many false teachers and churches that can mislead you into believing things that are not Biblical.
Especially as a new believer, it's very easy to be misled. If you pray and ask Holy Spirit for guidance, He will lead you in the right direction.
Beware of Lies and Deception
As a new “Born Again Believer” - “Saved Christian” - You are already seated with Christ in the heavenly realm. Note that “Growing up in the Spirit” is a process and takes time and effort on your part (as Holy Spirit Inspires).
Through the process you may have thoughts that you are not saved, that it's all a lie, that you missed the mark on salvation, that you can't be saved, that God won't and/or did not accept you......... etc. etc. etc. --- These are lies and deception (from the devil our enemy and even from your own mind and will). These lies will always keep you wondering, and will halt your spiritual growth.
Do NOT listen to those lies. Once you have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead – YOU ARE SAVED. You have become a child of God, and that can not be taken away.
The good news is that we are going to learn how to take ALL those thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ, and cast down all arguments that come against the Word of God.

Be very aware that when you got saved it was your spirit that became alive (in Gods eyes). However, your mind will and emotions are still the same as they were. Growing up spiritually is a process that will involve the renewing of your mind and learning to walk in Gods perfect will for your life, which leads to a freedom, joy and peace that surpasses human understanding.
