Daily Confession

Read aloud every day:

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for loving me so much that You came to earth in the flesh, as your Son, and bore the punishment of my sins. Your Word says that You are love, that you created me to be Your child, and that you cherish me with an agape love that goes beyond human understanding. I know Lord, that You have chosen me and filled me with Your Spirit. Thank you Father, that your peace is upon me, that I am accepted, that I am forgiven, and that I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus. As I read and meditate on Your Word each day, I ask that You would renew my mind and plant Your seed of faith and love in my heart. I want to love you God, as you love me. I want to grow closer to you each day, and learn to live by Your Spirit. Thank You Lord, for saving me from my own selfish desires. Please put a new desire in my heart - a desire to please You and make You smile. Thank You Father God, for loving me. In Jesus name, amen.

Memorize the following verses:

Romans 12:2 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will. NIV

1 John 3:9 - No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. NIV

Psalm 101:3 - I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me. NIV

Psalm 119:9/11 - How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your Word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Remember: It is very important that you continue to read your Bible ALOUD every day. Your mind and your heart will follow your words, so open your mouth when you read, and build your spiritual foundation on God’s Word.
