The Word for Thought

Psalm 55:22 - Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. NIV

God wants us to cast our cares on Him, but often we continue to bear them ourselves, even when we say we are trustung in Him.

Matthew 11:28 - “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..." NIV

Whatever burdens, weariness, sins, or oppressions you might be carrying, Jesus says to give them up to Him. He will free you from ALL burdens. The rest that Jesus promises is love, healing, and peace with God.

This does not mean the end of all burdens, but a right relationship with God can change your meaningless, wearisome toil into spiritual productivity and purpose.
